Not super impressed with mine. I wish they had some sort of literature that showed the testing done so people like me could set it up close to good right off the bat. All you get is a use this nozzle for this size engine but they don't give any details as to why or what you can do to adjust it...
I would argue that. Slap a number in a tranny and it is gonna hold that? No way.
Far more 5r110's have held 5oo hp stock than Allison's.
If the truck stays stock then you should not have any issues though. But really who stays stock?
And IFS is nice till you put a trailer behind it...
Installed the new fuel injection control module today. haven't driven it yet but it started up quite rapidly which it has kind of lagged in the past so I'm hoping for some pretty decent benefits from this money I just laid out
Found out why my times have not changed after the bigger injectors and turbo upgrade. Fuel injection control module is going south and doesn't have the voltage to actuate the injectors fully. Just dropped 1K$ on a bigger, better faster one.
Stupid truck. Lol
Went to the strip last night. Had a great night until my cat exhaust clamp let loose/slipped. That put an end to my runs for the night. I did however click off consistent 13.7's. still trying to dial in the launch.
Took my buddy down twice against his 12 camaro SS. He stopped talking to me.
Underground Diesels dyno day.
Very happy to get in the mag. Took third in the All ford category.
Had a very bad break up above 3000 Rpm's. new injectors cleared that up. Runs stronger now. But still happy with 3rd.
Rough screen shoots are all I have till I get it in my hand.
Maybe a large set of paddles that rub the tires when manipulated by a handle. 0 brake wear!!! Tough on the tires but they are rubber and easy to cross drill.
Just to clarify I was just worried actually about the oil breaking down at higher temperatures as opposed to staying at more of a constant lower temperature but I also heard that a thinner oil will make more power also, I don't know I don't like gas engines. Lol
I know oils of today are not like the old stuff so I see how it could be a non issue.
So the coolant temp was raised but the oil temp didn't go up? I am a little out of touch sometimes. I know my coolant temperature in my diesel is directly related to the engine oil temperature because the...
I can see how higher coolant temperature would make more power, the lower viscosity of the hot oil would mean less parasitic drag on the oil pump which would in-turn give you more horsepower but is thinner oil a better thing?
