So I picked this beauty up yesterday. What I know is its a 250 2-stroke. The engines were made by Yamaha. The bike however is German. I believe it's a late 60's early 70's but I have no idea for sure. I'm not sure of my plans either. I may end up selling it. Any input would be great...
Well I started with one size fits nothing Reese hitch. I had it laying around in the garage.
I made an upright out of 2x1/4".
I got some category one studs at tractor supply for 5 bucks.
Welded the upright on with a couple gussets for strength.

Well I know I have not been around for a while. We moved into a new place and I just got internet back today. While I was gone I decided it was time to update my ride. I loved my old F-150 and it will be missed. However I am loving its replacement. Here it is. It is a 2006 with 70K on the clock...
I decided it was time for a change on the ol' F150. I removed the brush guard. I really like to factory front lines of this truck. I am happy with my decision. What do you guys think?
Hello everyone. Well I got another Ford today. In the form of a tractor. The mods can move this to another section if they want since we don't have a tractor one yet.
Here it is. It's a 1947 Ford 2N. I drove up state to get it today. The F150 towed it like a champ. It had not run in a...
Well here she is. I got word last week that the new service truck was mine and they were putting me out on the road
Here she is in all her glory. We took delivery on Tuesday and I have spent the week setting it up. I still have a couple little things to do but nothing serious...
This is another easy do-it-yourself project.
Start by spraying all the castle nuts with penetrating oil. Cut the cotter pins back with some side cutters and remove the cotter pins from the castle nuts. Remove castle nuts.
Separate the Tie Rod ends from the spindles and steering knuckles...
This is a very easy job to do at home with a few simple tools. You will see my inner fenders are removed but that was for another repair. They can remain in. Spray all hardware with penetrating oil to assist in disassembly.
I used a pair of side cutters and trimmed back the cotter pin on the...
Well for the first time since I owned it the F150 Failed state inspection. I called down to the shop and the mechanic told me he was working on "the list".
I picked it up and got "the list". Drivers side upper ball joint, left side outer ball joint, right side inner ball joint...
So my buddy is selling his ride. He gave me first dibs on it. I am going to look it over saturday. I have been waiting for the right project to come to me, I think this may be the one. I cannot disclose the type of rig it is until I have it in my possession so for now this will have to do. More...
Hey everyone. I am considering selling the F150. I am looking at some land and could use the cash towards a down payment. I am thinking if I can get the right price I could sell it, buy an older F350 (late 80's-early 90's) and back a couple thousand. KBB says it is worth $8165 which I think is a...
I have not had a chance to go see these in person yet but it looks like a good time.
The boat rolling coal in this video has a 1400HP Twin Turbo DT466 in it that my buddy built.

Well this is a pretty common story but today was the closest I got to crashing my motorcycle. I have it up in Maine with me and I was riding over to a friends house. I was cruising along at around 40MPH when a guy in a fullsized car decided to pull out from a parking lot on my right. I locked up...
So I washed my truck and took it to a couple of my favorite places for a photo shoot. I am no photographer so these look pretty good to me. I want to send one to petersons 4Wheel and off road. Let me know which one you think would be best.

Well here is the deal. I need to do something about the rusty exhaust on my bike. I have a couple options. The muffler has no rust on it. My options are, sand blast and paint just the header portion black, paint the whole exhaust black or have it rechromed ($$$). What do you guys think?
So today I picked up my KZ1000. It's a 1982 and all the pieces are there. I have to troubleshoot a no start issue and give it a little love because it has been in storage for a few years. I will keep you updated with progress and Pics. It has a high performance clutch, custom 4 into one...
I am picking up a Kawasaki KZ1000 saturday. It needs some work but it is a solid bike. Don't worry I will post pics when I get it. Is anyone on here a part of a good KZ forum. I was just going to search them but figured I would look for recommendations first. :tmc:
Hey everyone. I currently have my CDL with air brake cert. I am going to add the Tanker cert. next week. My question is for HazMat drivers. The way my book sounded I had to take classes on a regular basis to keep my HazMat. Is this true? I thought you took the test then had the cert end of story...
Hey guys. I really bothers me when I cannot see well through a windsheild. I go through 4 or 5 sets of wipers on both my vehicles a year and use gallons of windsheild washer fluid. I have notice lately that the ws on my wifes Focus does not clean very well. I looked at it closely and found that...
I finally got my whips installed again. I had to make new mounts after installing my tool box. They are a little to long for my taste. If anyone has a set of 3 footers that want to trade for my 4 footers let me know.
I have a 1985 honda Vf500 Interceptor. I am removing the carbs for cleaning. The thing that is throwing me off is that the carbs are not connected to each other. The move independently but they are connected with linkages. There are spots for them to bolt together but no bolts in the holes. The...
