Well I started with one size fits nothing Reese hitch. I had it laying around in the garage.

I made an upright out of 2x1/4".

I got some category one studs at tractor supply for 5 bucks.

Welded the upright on with a couple gussets for strength.

Welded some end caps and drilled a 7/8" hole in them to mount the studs.

Here she is all done. I'm happy with it. I am going to paint it black when the weather gets a little better.

Now, that's ingenuity! :thumbs:

I'd probably buttress those outer tabs though, if it were me.
