I bought a set of eBay knockoffs for $100 shipped.
Reasons:
Don't have to be without headlights during the project.
If I did screw up, it was on a cheap set.
They were easier to peel apart.
Don't have to worry about the cheapos leaking since I'd be the one re-sealing them...
$100...
Just saw this....sorry! I appreciate it but you go ahead and try to sell it. If you fail then I'll hit you up on it...but it's not necessary. I washed the truck twice and it's been super cold lately.....no condensation. That's all I was worried about so it seems I'll be okay.
Thanks...
To be honest I'm not sure....been through two sets of headlights and haven't had that problem.
Shouldn't affect anything, but I don't think it would look good aesthetically.

Tail light?
Mine were a Christmas present, but for my truck they are pulling up @ $47.67 per assembly on TascaParts.com.
That's less than $50 per tail light. I'd tell him to suck one.
Unless you mean headlight assembly, in which case I'd tell him yes.
I needed a change.
Yep I wasn't even thinking about it when I did it....just hit "Delete All" and went for a fresh start on my photography. Forgot I had how-to pics hosted there....
Yeah just OEM. Not a big deal. I have it back together and if it leaks I'll just throw some more...
I'd say if you are decent with your hands and tinkering with stuff you'll be fine....just take your time. By far the hardest part is getting apart the headlight lenses without damaging them. Next hardest part is getting the projectors aligned properly. Both things require patience. Something...
Unfortunately I don't....lost them when I cleared out my Flickr account. They weren't any more helpful than the ones in the F150Online How-To thread, though.
I am still rocking the projectors, if that's what you mean? Don't have any spare HIDs.
Just remember.....if you rock tinted tails and get rear-ended, it can easily become your fault if anyone is paying attention.
As for your truck, I'd say no taillights. Start a new trend. It'd be like assless chaps for your truck.
Sorry to be annoying with questions. :D Was it the fender flares that were scrubbed? Or the wall?
Full lock in reverse.....both tires rubbed? One in one direction and one in another?
Would cutting out a section be noticeable or mostly out of sight?
Blackout FX4 had some Trail Graps...
But these trucks look soooooo good with wheel wells filled out.
Blackout FX4 (F150online) said he rubbed only at full lock. Was it the same for you?
When it rubbed, was it loud and annoying? Or just noticeable? i.e.- Would it turn heads in a parking lot?
Huh? You were running 35s with the Monsters?
I need new tires by the end of the year and have been debating. From reading around our 4wd trucks are slightly higher than the 2wd versions. Some are able to get away with 35s and aftermarket wheels.
Been looking at old pics of when I...
I hear you. I think the 2ohm sub is worth it. I believe the reason I went with the 2ohm is because there are a lot more options for amplifiers @ 4ohms.
