I'm actually not too concerned with the material... aluminum would work as with pretty much any steel. I'm even good with a composite material that has a good fiber and resin. A lot of the "high quality steel" stuff is basically marketing from the companies.

My buddy just picked up a used 2010 F150 extended cab 4.8L. First thing he want to do to it is a leveling kit and wheels/tires. What's the "go to" leveling kit for the F150s? Not looking for anything expensive. ... basically just a spacer kit. He also want to put a light bar on the front...

what lift kit did you go with? adjustable track bar? maybe its not adjusted properly and pulling the axle over to the side too much...

They shouldn't have any significant lateral play... something doesn't sound right (no pun intended)

over tighten those bolts? The control arms have a tendency to "squeeze" in when over torqued on those which puts more pressure on the bushings.
