The GMT800 Avalanches never changed to rear drum brakes, so they *should* fit. They did get hydroboost brakes in 2005 though, I think.

The Avalanche gets 18-19 MPG on the highway and 13-14 in the city. The 1995 gets 16-17 MPG on the highway and 12-13 in the city.

You don't have to remove the headlight, you can tap into the wires in the wire loom running across the driver side fender, nearby the evap canister.

If you know how to use wire strippers and a crimping tool, you can do it. If not, get a six pack and a friend to do it for you. The Painless 30802 kit is good quality and color coded, but overpriced. You can do it yourself with a 30-amp relay, some ~14awg wire, and wire connectors...

No, if you have the original AC controls in your 95, you probably have wires chaining the light sockets together. Just twist the sockets out, and pull the bulbs straight out of the socket. They can be very tight so be careful.
