Bullet proof does not equal iron worker proof. In fact I don't believe they have found any materials yet that are iron worker proof.
Proof positive last time I pulled on a job site guys are doing something shady so I see what's up. They're using the snap caps for our nail guns (small black...
I'd give them $5 for it if the auction was within 5 miles of a scrap yard. My first thought was that someone would want the frame for a custom buggy but a 250 would be a pretty heavy frame and it's hard to tell from the pictures but it might be jacked up from the heat from the fire.
I hope that doesn't happen to ours. I don't really get to drive it in winter since the old mans partner lives a mile from the shop so he's always the first one there to plow. In summer though the plow comes off and it becomes another forklift for me.
We have 3 attachments for it now...
I don't have a friggen clue about carpentry nail guns. There are a few guys on here that do residential construction for a living that could probably get you pointed in the right direction. I can tell you to stay away from Hilti, their prices have been proven to cause heart attacks and or...
The way our guys treat equipment the bumpers won't see summer anyway.
P.S. The fact that they're 2010's and were priced accordingly is the only reason we have them.
Steel. Used on the roof decking. We have a bunch of smaller handhelds that are about the size of your average carpenters framing nailer but with the powder caps this thing can get a bit more pop behind it and it really saves a guys back throughout the day.
The only reason I'm excited about this is one of these is replacing my favorite truck that a foreman has right now. The infamous 8.1 w/ 6 speed manual might be coming back to be my shop truck again.
There is absolutely no point to this thread other than to whore the Toolbox so Jim lets us keep it. Feel free to up your post count by posting useless crap. Here's our version of a roofing nailer.
Again I don't know anything about that one but the hooks don't look nearly as beefy as the hooks on our 1 1/2 tons, I might keep looking though. Depending on what you plan to use it for there's a whole lot that can go wrong if a come along malfunctions, might be a good time to spend a little extra.
Picked up 2 new work trucks today. This will be our second go with utility boxes. Last time we ordered one with every possible option ext cab 4x4 that was totaled 2 months after we bought it so we went back to buying the cheapest trucks available. We actually got a screaming deal on these but we...
That's what I was told in a different thread here a while back. I mentioned that I thought the AFM was what made the truck feel sluggish at times, that's why I drove around in Tow/Haul mode which feels just right to me except the shift points are a bit high for my normal driving. Someone else...
We use tons of come alongs at work but ours are all chain not cable. Price wise that's right around 1/4 what we pay for our 1 1/2 tons. I have no idea how the price of chain compares to cable so take it for what it's worth.
Only one in this thread with a decent driver that knows how to shift. All these videos of D-bags bouncing it on the rev limiter make me want to stab someone in the eyeball with a spoon.
I have no clue what I'm missing out on here but I'll go with what I see is left.
Hemi's have the same V4-V8 it's just referred to as MDS (multiple displacement system) on Dodges. If you are thinking of getting a blackbear tune to help out the driveability I would assume he can get rid of the...
GMC 4x4, on a GM 1/2 ton with the 5.3 and the 6 speed 3.42 is the lowest axle ratio available factory. They don't offer the 3.73 behind the 6 speed on 1/2 tons, that's why the comparison included the 3.42.
I'm not completely sold that it's that much better than everything else but no matter...
Sounds good, not a huge deal since they do have an online catalog I just prefer to find what I need and call in the order. That's why I like having the Grainger catalog.
