    Matt's '07 Retrofit Build Thread

And it starts...... I'm going to try to bust this out as quick as possible once the lights get in. I drive about an hour in the dark to work every morning so it would be nice to have.

    Matt's '07 Retrofit Build Thread

Retrofit KIT and chrome bulbs came in. Headlights due in Monday. :wookie: Yes it has. It will take me a few weeks to finish it up, but it will be worth it. YES. Guys that have done it talk about lighting up 5 lanes of highway with a sharp cutoff. Night and day difference. A few shots...

    Matt's '07 Retrofit Build Thread

Hi guys, feel free to follow along (or not). I'll be continuously posting updates on this as I make progress. Starting a new job tomorrow, so I'll be doing a little at a time. I used to run a DDM kit in stock housings, but realized how blinding they were and pulled them out. Promised myself...

Buying Chevy Malibu or Ford Fusion

True, but I'd be willing to drive 200 miles to pick up a vehicle with less than half the mileage of another one.

    New Buffer/Polisher

Keep us updated! New toys are awesome, especially when they are detailing toys. It's worth a few hundred to keep these expensive trucks in great shape.

    CONGRATS STEVE!!!!

I hear ya. I've been spending $1.25 every day just to rinse off the truck at the car wash. Pollen is like AIDS for black trucks. :nonod:

    New Buffer/Polisher

The easiest/cheapest way you could go is to purchase a kit from an online detailing store. If you buy everything separate you're going to end up spending way too much. The 7424 can get the job done. In my recent detail I used it with Adam's 6.5" pads. It did it, but the job could have been...

    New Buffer/Polisher

If you go with a Flex or PC, you could get your pads from Adam's. They have every pad you would need for either machine. The 10% TMC coupon code would go well with that. :D

    New Buffer/Polisher

Here's a good comparison between the age-old PC and the Flex: http://www.adamsforums.com/forums/showthread.php?t=9207 While the Flex is more powerful, the PC is more versatile. It fits many different size pads (for example, the 4" focus pads I used to fix my bumper).

    New Buffer/Polisher

If I were to get another one now I'd go with the Flex. It's more powerful and corrects in less time. Scott, haven't heard much about the Makitas, but hell, they all do the same thing! Go for it!

    Tesla Model S

I'd say it borders more towards a premium sports cars than an average family sedan. How many base-model family sedans can do 0-60 in 5.6 seconds? It's not a rocket but it is quick for a little sedan. At this point, though, it is more about driving something that doesn't rely on gas. Gas...

    Tesla Model S

Base model has 160 mile range. More than enough for regular day-to-day drivers.

    It's $49,900 after a $7500 federal tax credit.

Upgrades increase the cost, of course, but base price will be less than $50K.

    Tesla Model S

This is the best looking electric car I've seen. Imagine the gas savings, especially with it rising so much lately. Do want. Looks like Tesla is back on track. http://www.teslamotors.com/models XrtXXrRa5OI Vvqj7egMZMI
