Oh, I totally agree! That is what I was talking about in the first post. That Pioneer is fast, clear, and intuitive. The GM is very clunky.
It does sound good, though
The 3 grand is subjective; but when you add it up, it adds up quick. A decent HU is $500 minimum. 5 channel amp $500...
I am hooked on Octane, and Turbo. I should get back into collecting music on an iPod and just do that. I blame your old man. He got me my first coupon code nearly 10 years ago, and I have been hooked ever since :D2
These long drives I am making weekly are in the middle of nowhere, and I...
I am so pleasantly surprised that the Bose in the 15 and newer rigs is better than the prior editions. I upgraded my 07 and 09 for a hefty cost, but they needed it. My truck and the wife's rig have a respectable system
It's nuts. This Ford was even worse than the GMs I have had replaced. It is a really expensive endeavor, just to put in a basic HU
They cut me a good deal, and the harness adapters you have to purchase to by-pass the separate amp, etc come to over $300. They had some take off parts that...
I wish Jim was still around! He would always find me a smokin' deal on XM subscriptions!
I have been hunting around for a deal on a 3rd subscription. I have a decent deal that I grandfathered into on 2, but adding a 3rd nearly doubles my price to $45 a month with taxes.
Anybody?
Had a Pioneer MVH2300 installed in the work F250, with XM for my long trips. Had 4 Kenwood 4x8 3 ways installed. I like it. No bass, but good enough for work!
These aftermarket radios sure do blow everything away that comes OEM
Brother, I hope that works out for you. Nearly $10K more in parts would make me want to analyze what the truck is worth, how much I have already spent, what is left owing on the note, what other investments need to be made on the truck, etc
I am sure you have done this...but damn!
I have a 2015 F250 that I drive daily at work. While the Ford does not get the fuel mileage that my GM gets, it is certainly a step up for Dennis.
Around town the Ford averages about 11 mpg, down to 10 in winter with shitty fuel.
It has taller gears than my GM, but gets a bit less...
No more duallies for you, son!
Seriously though, I still think the '15-17 F250 crew shortbox, in dark blue is one of the best looking trucks on the road!
You should see what they charge for a DMax
ONE TIME since I have had this, I had a Valvoline Quick Change done, because I was out of town, and over due...$139 and I did not even get the fuel filter done.
Never again, plus I don’t trust anyone :D2
