    My Jeeps in the snow!!!

Some more pics and videos on the way!!! To give a little background.. I live near the end of a cul-de-sac. I'm the first house so there's just a normal street width in front of my driveway. To clear the snow, i just have a 16"x48" dozer blade on my tractor and i push the snow into the...

    My Jeeps in the snow!!!

The Liberty did alright... but with the bald stock tires and the ComandTrac 4x4 system it couldn't hold a candle to the Commander with the QD2 4x4 system and the new AT/2s. Have some mods planned for the Commander. The Liberty is only getting tint, cruise control and a bluetooth radio (maybe...

Perplexed by green fluid under Jeep.....

Ok... how about this... My tractor is used to cut grass. So there was probably plenty of green crap left over inside the wheels and frame. The first few times i plowed my driveway snow got packing in the wheels/frame/fenders/etc. Then i parked in my garage. During the night the snow...

Perplexed by green fluid under Jeep.....

Not coolant. It's the Chrysler HOAT stuff which is orange/red (NOT Dex though, it's different). There was also none near the front of the vehicle. The puddles on the driveway were before I got stuck, so it didn't have anything to do with getting stuck. Once i got stuck, i didn't try really...

Perplexed by green fluid under Jeep.....

It's not separating from the water... so its not oil or anything important. Unsolved mystery! :drinking:

Perplexed by green fluid under Jeep.....

Still a mystery! Both front and rear washer nozzles are shooting full force... and the fluid coming through is still blue, nothing is green (the rainx didn't make it down the line i guess yet). And no dripping after spraying. We have a saying at the shop, "You don't start worrying...

Perplexed by green fluid under Jeep.....

They had the basic blue washer fluid in there. I refilled with orange rain-x. The combination could give it that awkward green that i saw!

Perplexed by green fluid under Jeep.....

I don't think it has a rear reservoir... but i wonder if the line going to it cracked. I know they watered down the fluid at the dealer because it froze at the nozzles which really pissed me off. Going to go test out that rear wiper to see if fluid sprays all over the place

Perplexed by green fluid under Jeep.....

True. I was thinking more about the dye that we put in the A/C system to check for leaks. It's very similar in color to that. So if there was dye in the system and i ripped a line off, that neon green dye would be all over the place. (but its not)

Perplexed by green fluid under Jeep.....

Ok... just got in from shoveling... damn my back hurts! I need to make my 2nd story deck retractable or something! It's melted and its not separating. So im going to say its just a mixture of whatever crap is in the exhaust. Who knows... maybe a mouse took a dump in my muffler while it...

Perplexed by green fluid under Jeep.....

Just checked the tractor.... no fluid there Also went and triple checked the brakes on the jeep. Reservoir is where it should be and the pedal is nice and firm. I did have the jeep running/idling for a good 15-20 minutes while i plowed the driveway. I guess it could just be a lot of...

Perplexed by green fluid under Jeep.....

Hmmmmm.... I think i have an idea! I don't have a dog that would pee neon green.... but i wonder what color fluid the hydro transaxle of my tractor is :ohnoes:

Perplexed by green fluid under Jeep.....

That's why im so perplexed  Haven't smelled it yet. I'm waiting for it to thaw to see how it looks/feels. No dogs. We JUST got 27 inches of snow. I cleared out the driveway with the plow so it was a fresh slate, then started up the jeep and moved it and bam, green fluid. The...

Don't know how it will look on your computer screen... but on mine it looks more yellow than green. So the color may not be representative of what it actually looks like.

Perplexed by green fluid under Jeep.....

Under body is clean. Plus, when we first got the jeep i looked over every square inch of it.... I'm starting to lean towards brake fluid and it just has a green tint because it's mixing/dissipating in the snow. But the brakes are firm. I'll look at it again later to make sure

We should start taking bets! I took a bunch of the green snow and put it in a container. Figure once it melts and separates i'll have more clues to figure it out
