    buRRp's 96 Silverado C2500

Just do it, they aren't held on by adhesive, just some screws inside the wheel well. You can always put them back on.

    buRRp's 96 Silverado C2500

Ditch the chrome fender trim, strip the black paint off the chrome grille, colormatch the bowties on the grille and doors, maybe paint the visor if you're keeping it. That should do it

Need a little help please. '93 K1500 not running right.

Agreed. You're going to want/need one anyways. To check the timing on the TBI trucks, you need to disconnect the brown wire that's beneath the glovebox before you start the motor, otherwise the computer will keep changing the timing and you'll never get it right. It should be set to top dead...

Need a little help please. '93 K1500 not running right.

Very first thing I would do in your situation is check the fuel pressure. It's kind of a PITA because you have to install a T-fitting between the throttle body and fuel line so you can put a gauge on it. IIRC, you should have around 11-14 psi, and if not... If that doesn't fix it, I would bet...

New pics of my old '95 Silverado C1500

Thanks guys Probably because they are... It's nice living where it only snows once every five years. Same here. All red ones no doubt. I used to have the exhaust dumped before the rear axle. Liked the noise, hated having so much of it in the cab though. It was time for change.

New pics of my old '95 Silverado C1500

Took a few pictures of my old 1995 Chevy C1500 Silverado, unfortunately it got a little dirty on the way to where I took the pics. Oh well. The paint is really starting to go but at least it still runs and drives great. The TYC Elegante lights are starting to show their age. :( I bought...

    Shock recommendations?

Put new ones on the Avalanche about year ago. Might be inherent to the Avalanche's suspension, but it rides like shit compared to my 95, which has three year old Monroe Reflex shocks.

    Shock recommendations?

Bilsteins are too rough for mostly street use, IMHO.

    Damn the circumstances

Well we made it back from Galveston on Monday, although the transmission did start acting up a little leaving the island. Seemed like it was slipping a little when the torque converter was unlocked in 4th gear. After a few miles or so, everything was fine again. Then while driving yesterday, I...

I can drive a manual fairly well, but I don't really care for them in most vehicles.

    Damn the circumstances

In about 7-8 hours from now, I should be headed to Galveston to spend the weekend with my girlfriend for her birthday, but right now, I'm not sure if that will go as planned. A couple of days ago, the brakes on my 95 Silverado started acting up. They still stop the truck just fine, but would...

I done gone and did it...HIDs for a 2004 Sierra

Re: I done gone and did it...HIDs for a 04 Sierra I never had to call them, but their email support is certainly lacking too. I really have no desire to do business with them anymore, but unfortunately I'm having a hard time finding another vendor that matches the quality and price of their...

Re: I done gone and did it...HIDs for a 04 Sierra Yeah, I guess that not too bad if they are drop shipping. I've had to wait 2-3 weeks for stuff from DDM Tuning before.
