I want to point out that if you tap into the wires before the Bose amp, you do not need to use a LOC because the signal is already low level from the factory headunit.
I think the fuel pumps in both of my trucks make a whine similar to the beep you're describing, but it's not very loud. My Avalanche fuel pump likely has about 95k miles on it while the 95's pump has less than 3k miles.

I wonder if a headlight housing from a 90-98 pickup would fit? Those fit right in a 88-89 pickup, which have lights similar or identical to...
I miss not having a visible tailpipe, but I certainly don't miss the fucking noise in the cab a dump makes.

Since you mentioned towing, I'm temped to say go with at least 4.88 gears, that would put you at around 2300rpms at 70mph in overdrive. Plenty of power around there and it still wouldn't completely obliterate your gas mileage either.
As some of you know I have Toshiba HIR bulbs in my 1995 and love their output. I already pulled the 9011 highbeam bulbs from my 95 and put them in the Avalanche, but I want to know if the 9012 lowbeam bulbs will cause glare in a cladded Avalanche?
