So I went checked out the jacked up gmc and it's crap..
Here's where I am.. My credit is getting better slowly but it still sucks. For a used truck my interest rate is 15-18% for a new truck my interest is 8%. If I'm gonna finance more than two or three thousand I might as well buy a new...
I canceled the appointment to go check out a new one yesterday due to the ole ladies high school reunion. The lifted truck is at a car lot I bought from in the past. I'm going check it out tomorrow..
4x4 allows me to pull and launch my boats anywhere without worrying about if I can get back out. I hunt and fish public land all over louisiana. I get stuck 3-4 times a year with a 2wd.. Needs me a 4x4..
They wouldn't get off 41,000 down here. Of coarse it was the 4x4 though. A guy that works for me told me today that he knows some people at a dealership in north Baton Rouge that could give me a deal. I didn't think much of it but the crazy old welder came through and the dealership called me...
The dealership wouldn't budge on the price so I went for a used.. I agreed on a price with the salesman and when I went to sign papers, they did the paperwork for the asking price instead of the previously discussed price we agreed on. I got pissed and the managers attitude after I mentioned it...
And now I'm back looking for another ride. Two I found after a quick look. A 2005 duramax and a 2004 Avalanche. I'm not a fan of it stock but I seen one in north louisiana like it with a lift and tires and it was sweet!
They get the their Avalanche back as is with no brakes.. I get the $5000 I put down on the vehicle, the exact amount I owe the finance company to pay them off completely, plus $300 towards the mechanic I got to look at the brakes..
Didn't get a chance to check that. I got a quote for the brakes and when they replace something, Whatever's next to it brakes. Estimated cost just to get it drivable now is over $3000 and growing. I'm in negotiations with the dealer now. Law suit city now....
They are not concerned with the rust. They said it was visible if I would have looked hard enough. And what do you know, the brakes went out last night.
