getting a good set is what you want. 1 1/2" wide or so. Don't get the narrow ones. When you look at HD you'll be able to tell the quality just by looking at them

Are you using anything like Rain-X or Aquapel? I use Aquapel and go through very little washer fluid in a year

If it's from the glass sliding in the tracks, you could try spray silicone to lube the rubber weatherstrip
