I'm not sure if there is another sized belt. The one originally on my truck (according to Rockauto and several other parts sites) is a 93 and 3/4inch long belt. There was a 93" belt listed for trucks that originally came with a 105a alternator, which is what I bought. Perhaps I need a 93 and...

About a year or so ago, I replaced my alternator pulley with a smaller one to gain a little more amperage at idle (since I had converted my truck to E-fans). This ended up putting some more slack in the serpentine belt. So much slack that on cold mornings I would sometimes hear the belt...

I could care less about longevity. I just want my truck to run the same or better. If these plugs will do that. Then I'll run em. I am just confuse as to why they stated that these engine need iridium plugs, and now they say to use platinum plugs instead. :dunno: I replaced the plugs shortly...

I'm getting ready to replace the spark plugs on my 01 Chevy 5.3 engine. I have already ordered the AC Delco 41-110 Iridium plugs from Rockauto. I thought it was odd that they were not listed as a replacement for my truck. I had to manually enter the part number in order to purchase them...

I wish I could have got mine that cheap. I remember spending about $500 or so on everything. Compressor, drier, orifice tube, PAG oil, new O-rings, few cans of 134a, and a new belt and belt tensioner.

I use the Amsoil PI and I swear by it now. Not only does it improve my MPG, but it makes my engine run a lot smoother. So much smoother in fact that I had a knock sensor code from my CEL, and adding a bottle of PI actually got rid of the code. I wasn't specifically trying to get rid of the code...

T, my compressor was about $300 as well. But no rebate. The 5% discount code from Rockauto did save me a few bucks though. And Nick, the E-fans are still working great 3 summers later. I have since upgraded my stock 130a alternator to a 145a alt from a 04 Tahoe, and also added an overdrive...

Jeff, I usually just fill my tank halfway when I add a bottle, because I have a 30 gallon tank. And then I don't add any more fuel until I get to basically empty. And Nick, thanks for the tip about adding it BEFORE each oil change. I usually do it at the same time. But I can definitely attest...

That's the first type of vehicle that I would steal in a Zombie Apocalypse or similar scenario. :D No anti theft bullshit, (easier to steal) and it will run on used motor oil, transmission fluid, used vegetable oil, or most other oils if I can't get a hold of diesel.

Yep. That sumbitch was easily 1 1/2 inches shorter. :fume: I also noticed that it says 15k miles change interval now, the other filter said 25k miles interval. But that's not an issue, I change it every 7500-10k miles. I just hate that its so much smaller. Its even harder to thread on because...

I don't have the part number from the old one, my wife threw it away already because I left it sitting in a ziploc bag outside. :lol: And I can get the part number for the new one when I get back home on Friday. I'm in Springfield Missouri right now on a business trip.

Nick, when I changed my oil last month, I noticed that my AMSOIL filter was a lot smaller than my older filter. It had a different number on it also. Why did they change the filters for the GM LS series engines?? :dunno:
