I had the sub bridged. I just tested it and removed the sub from the enclosure and it smelt burnt so I think the sub is done. what would cause the sub to burn up like that? was the amp indeed too small?

Id keep the truck, youll have more room on trips, if you need to haul something theres no thought required you just throw it in the back. It more capable for several situations. You may not go offroad but who knows when you need to tow or when you may need the awd
