I would recommend going with 6.5" components at least up front, they make adapters for them. I am running a set now, they sound a lot better than the 6x8 the I originally had there so i just moved those to the back
I had the same problem getting the one of my dads used 08 F350 he got. I tried the biggest pair of channel locks I had since I couldn't find my small oil filter wrench, when that didn't work. I got out a flat blade and a hammer put a hole through it, almost tore the bottom of the filter off but...
adjusted and made sure everything was still tight on the sway and also found out my front passenger UCA is shot and that was where the clunking was coming from :lame: so I am ordering two new ones now
Ordered Some 4.10s And a rear sway bar finally now I just need to find a limited slip to go along with it all:naughty: :D no more more one wheel peel :loser:
I just went and pulled the intake apart and checked everything, and put it all back together and tightened everything. I did not see any cracks or tears in anything :dunno:
that is what I was thinking also, I checked it in the Auto Zone parking lot. it seemed to be okay, today I will take the whole intake apart and go through it piece by piece and see if that helps.
I have changed the plugs and COPs with in the last 5k miles. so I am pretty sure it is not those, there are no codes being thrown.
At idle it feels like it is missing, the whole trucks shakes/shutters/bogs while accelerating and the RPMs fluctuate up and down even when I hold the throttle...
Stay with Motorcraft I picked all 8 up at auto zone for $12. I had them changed out in less than an hour. Just pull the fuel rails and you have direct access to all of the plugs and COPs. The back two plugs, I think were the only ones that needed a swivel socket but that was it.
