The first thing I drive by myself was my uncles 72 with a 350 350hp with a granny 4speed. That truck would flat move in the quarter. Always wanted one and found this one before I found the 67. I always liked the good and grille better on the 67 Chevys to the rest of them 56-72s.

Looks like it will be a great truck. I'm a gm guy but those fords I'll always love. Dad had a 68 and I had a 69. Should have never got rid of either of them.
Painted rims and beauty rings back on! Top needs to go a little darker color. I used some base coat I had laying around. I thought it looked close but it's to silver.
I'd like to try too. That's cast iron grey engine paint from a rattle can. The top of the cab and wheels are going to go that color also. I see a lot of these truck online that are all black. I like them but I want mine different. If I can't match the color I thought red and white pinstriping...
Over a few years we should have it done I hope. Her dad just love coming over a seeing just how much I've got done on his ol fury. Like I said its been apart for 40 plus years. Plan is when it's all done to be red with black painted or vinyl top, and a black interior. I've got some old ET 5...
It's a long way from on the road. Has no motor or tranny in it. We still need to put motor back together. It's bored 30 but has been apart for 40 years. It's a 383 bb. We have to other for parts. Her father found the original 4speed about 2 weeks ago. It needs new case and 3-4 shift fork and 3-4...
Well I finally got it painted today. Been working on momma's 65 fury getting it in to a roller. But this last week I've been sanding on the ol GMC to get it painted before the car show this next month. I still need to paint the top of the cab with the cast grey but at least it's all blitz black now.
The 98 snapped into the bumper filler. And the bumper filler had 3 7mm screws that held it to the radiator support if I remember correctly.

I had one in my parts truck way back when I was putting my 64 GMC together. Ran but I didn't want to put it in my shortbed truck. If I remember right. Do a search for 60-66 guy and you should find his sight and that is all that sights about. Don't ever ask them about doing a small block swap...
I was going to say tires out of balance. But I see you've done that. When they balance them do they use a road force type balancer? Or just a normal one? The road force one does a better job. What it does is put some force on the tread of the tire while it balances them. The local tire place in...
