Unless you want to buy a new car, skip it. There's no way you come out better than being payment free by next year.

I would love to be in a new vehicle because either way if I stick with our used Nox or get a new one, we would still be able to have it paid off at the end of next year.

You honestly believe you are going to go in and get brand new value out of your 64K mile version? I know you mentioned the discounts but didn't you get them when you bought the first one too? They'll wash.

I don't see it happening on an Equinox.

I like playing the games with the dealers so if you are like me, you might as well check it out.

 Yeah I expect to be in a new vehicle without paying another dime then what I owe currently! :jester:

I would just like to see what it will cost me to be in a 3 year newer vehicle with no miles and 3 years extended warranty. Maybe even grab a couple extra features in the process...

I do know that they can extend the term further than ever to make these things sound like a good deal with a smaller payment amount. They will have to be within my desired term for me to even think about it.

I am at 0% on the Nox now and we've been saving. It could only be a win or no deal.

Not sure how it can be a win. You'll end up owing more than you owe now when you leave the dealership no matter what.

Good luck though.

Thanks man! I came out pretty good when I sold my truck so we will see. More than likely I will be driving the Nox back home. I have a bunch of payments that will be done early next year like the big Bobcat and probably the new truck will be paid off next year too. I have been paying on it pretty heavily.

Looks like we will be getting a 2013 Chevy Equinox LTZ in the Black Granite with the v6 3.6L.

I would have stuck around and brought it home tonight but A). I thought I should sleep on it and B). I wanted to take the boy and wife out to vote!

I went to the dealer today to get them to take their sticker off the back and in the process I sat in the ZL1 in the showroom. Sure is nice with the leather seats and all but for $60k I don't think so.
