ehhh, no reason to muck with the rules.. It's just one week..
From time to time, I have thought that having an additional "wildcard" pick from the whole list might be neat.. Maybe reduce the number of groups from 6 to 5 and add a wildcard from any group or something.. But, it works the way it is.. So..
