This. Tahoe. Crushes.
Took the new 'hoe up to Amarillo this weekend. ~250 miles one way. Right at half a tank there, half a tank back. Not shabby.
The engine/transmission is great. Hard to believe this brick can get up and go like it does. Makes me really want to see what a BB tune will do for it.
Room, room everywhere. I had no issues loading everything up, including the dog. In the Impala, the dog would have been left behind, and she would have had to ride in the bed of the truck. The Tahoe had room for all our (mostly the wife's) stuff, all the baby stuff, and the dog kennel, with plenty of room to spare. One of the main reasons we got this vehicle.
The seats are tons comfier than the Impalas, and the truck wasn't even in the same league. I would usually have shooting pains in my left leg after 4 hours of driving either older vehicle. I had no problems in these. Everything adjusted just right.
Probably give another review in a few thousands miles, after we drive it up to Colorado this winter. Hopefully it'll snow on us and I'll get to test out the 4wd and traction control.

Awesome! I'm glad you're happy with it. My inlaws bought one 6 months or so back. They love it too.

The space intentionally left blank.
If the Stabillitrak is setup the same way in the 'Hoe as it was in my Sierra (and I'm guessing it would be), it's still active when the traction control is off.. So, if you get into a situation where you need the t/c off to get through some snow, if the 'Hoe gets too out of shape, the Stabillitrak should still kick in and keep things from getting too crazy..

Eric, you will have to push the button a second time and hold it for 5 seconds to turn off the Stabilitrak.
