It would be pretty cool to see a cutout of Darth Vader in a skid plate where mine is,hope you can get it done

I know, I'm stoked. :wookie: Like it's been said a thousand times " The only restrictions are imagination and $."

I'm lacking a little in the latter.:( LOL

I can send you a couple of my emails where I won several million in the British Lottery or a couple from Nigeria where my uncle..(that I didn't even know I had)... left me millions....
After I collect on a few of them...that's all I will need.
I am sure I will still have a few left over...

Thanks Jim, I'll keep that in mind.

I should be set because the deposed king of Nigeria (maybe he knows your uncle?) needs help getting his family fortune out of the country.

I would modify your illustration because there are to many thin areas what will have a chance of becoming bent inward, and might flap in the wind depending on how thick you're going. If you go with aluminum, it'll have to be really thick, don't bother with steel as it will rust quickly.

I was able to find a local shop that waterjet mine for me for around $100 (but I got lucky because other places quoted me $300 and up), I paid for my own s/s sheet ($95+), and sent them my own illustration which I created in Adobe illustrator that he was able to work from since it was a vector file. I had the s/s polished to a mirror finish.

Let's start with  then . That is BAD ASS!!

I'm going with 1/4 " aluminum (probably). Going to paint or powder coat so not really thinking S/S. Thanks for the tip on the thin areas. I was hoping w/ 1/4 " that wouldn't be a prob.:dunno: Better fore warned then to pay the $ to find out it's scrap metal. :fume:

I BARELY know Paint let alone Adobe , photo shop or CAD. :(

When I go to the shop (s) I'll ask their opinion and if they can modify the areas to thicken them up slightly.:)

Yeah shouldn't be a big deal. If they can't modify it let me know and I will re illustrate it for you.
