Here is the fuse, all the wiring looked correct, maybe I will get a smaller fuse

I've never seen a fan melting that way. I've also never used any fuse with a higher amperage than 70 in a fan.

80 amps is huge! I'd bet the fan circuit needs no more than a 30 amp fuse.

Yeah, that is the size that was recommended on the site that I got the info for the controller I made, but after doing some research a lot of people say a 50 amp is good enough, even though it can spike up to 100 amps on start up

Anything above 50amp in a fan fuse is over-protection, and often over-protection is not really so effective as it would be supposed to...

Looking around... I don't see how it could need more than a 50. A 30 is probably good enough, but a 50 is much better than what you have.
