An update on the new ride.
I got 16.1 MPG over 460 or so miles from Charlotte to New Albany through the mountains with an entire OEM set of 20" wheels ant tires, the original suspension parts and some other random crap in the back while doing around 80 MPH the entire way. All while rolling on the 22's.
Today, on my way back from the lake, I took a 67 mile route that took me through the countryside with max speeds of 60 MPH and I managed to pull off 20.8 MPG while driving carefully. It was not my typical driving style, but I wanted to see what it could do if I tried.
I was pleasantly surprised.
