Will GM's Auto-Level system work as well as my old Airlift helper bags?

Anyone have any experience? The new Tahoe is lowered too so I want to make sure I'm prepped and ready for towing.

My uncles tahoe had the autolift and it kept it level, when you unhitch, though, it takes.forever to let the air back out.

I can deal with that. I just wanted to know if I was going to have to butcher the OEM system to have something usable. At least this gives me hope.

No experience, but I am sure GM had towing in mind when designing the auto ride. Even then if it was lowered, if done correctly, it should still level fine. :dunno:

:werd: Mine was a good 3-4 inches low after hooking up a trailer to tow that Blazer home. After driving it for about a mile, it was perfectly level.

Don't you have the Nivomat system though? This is the active system that uses a compressor.

Yes, mine are the Nivomats, not the ones that hook to the compressor.
They are about due to be replaced now too. :ohnoes:

Just go with new springs and regular shocks. It's cheaper and will be just fine.
