I got a set of DL3 option power folding mirrors with turn signals.

I will have to do a lengthy write up explaining how to hardwire them to my truck, since they were only an option on the 03+ trucks.

Not without modifying the mirror housing or making an adapter plate to get them to bolt on. 03-06 mirrors bolt right up to my 01, but its the wiring that is completely different. Once I figure all the wiring out, I will start wiring them up. I know for sure that I will have to run at least 4 more wires into each door (2 for the signal arrows, and 2 for the power folding). My current mirrors already have the heated option, along with auto dimming and the puddle lamps so all that wiring is already in place.

You can get tows like the newer trucks for the GMT400's now.

Those are nice but a bit pricey.The ad said it will fit my burb,but when I checked the compatibility list it says no....
