They will not only look better than the black textured ones that are on there, but I will also get rid of the passenger door lock. I will only have a keyhole in the drivers door now.

I believe it's necessary to remove those running boards to install these. Just sayin'.

Said the guy with a lowered 4x4 with running boards on it.

Black contoured running boards, not chrome nerf bars.

I realize I said running boards in my post, that was my mistake, but they are different.

Keep 'em if you like 'em, I just think nerf bars look out of place on non-lifted rides.

I know. But I have kids who actually use them to get up into my truck. So for now, they will stay.
And I might lift it one day. I actually take this big 2wd beast down a lot of dirt trails during deer season. My frame scrapes in one particular area where I cross an old drainage ditch. A few inches of lift would help some. :dunno:

Why do you want to get rid of the passenger door lock?

Two reasons.
I have NEVER once used my key in the passenger side door lock. (Because I have keyless entry)
It was actually cheaper to get a handle without a keyhole than it would cost for a handle with a keyhole, plus a new lock, plus the cost for a locksmith to rekey the lock to work with my current key.

Makes sense enought for me.
