Ok,

So my sister in law's suburban keeps breaking door handles... as I know how easy it is to do.. I replaced them by the dozens at the dealer... my question is... it's out of warranty now... SO.

Do any after market handles replace the whole assembly... or do they just change the handle part? I told her I would look for a more durable handle... so I can install them and they never have an issue again!

Let me know please!

It has the chrome handles as of now.. and they want to keep them Chrome or polished.

Thank you.

It's amazing how cheap these things are. My mom broke two of them and she's 5'2" and weak as can be.

I understand vehicles break, that's okay, but door handles, something that's meant to be pulled on, repeatedly, should be designed to withstand enough force that this is NEVER an issue seen by folks using their vehicles in a normal manner.

Exactly. Like wtf... and they have 3 kids... so you know what that means.. Kids are rough as hell on door handles... LOL.

Idk what to do for them besides just replace them when they break... they know I wont charge them.
