My wife's new BMW

Some of you may know that I have been looking for a new X5 for my wife for a few months. I bought her a new 2012 BMW X5 last Thursday and spent half the weekend detailing it. It is half done and I will finish the rest of it on Friday since I have the day off.

The results so far after clay, polish, & sealant. I still need to apply glaze and paste wax on Friday.

The truck feels neglected since I've had it over a month and haven't detailed it yet.

Yeah but this one might be the last of this color for awhile....and its the darkest gray we have had so far.

There are days I wish I would have gotten the Denali in White Diamond instead.

Thanks man. I told my wife not to drive it like she stole it. I'd like to get 15k miles out of the tires. The rears are 13.2" wide...stupid expensive.

Funny you should mention that...

The start/stop feature will be coming to the new 2014 X5. We looked at a 5 series with that and I hated it. Some of the new crap they are coming out with is annoying IMO.

No, its a 330ci. I always had people asking about the car and I was made an offer that I couldn't pass up. I really want a M3 anyway so I took the offer and sold it last week. We are down to 2 vehicles...I need to get some pics to get a new signature.
