Anyone have any experience with purchasing these? I've been wanting to tint my windows, but dont feel like shelling out $100+ to have a shop do it. And found a few eBay stores with the kits. Are they pretty spot on for window size?

Never used them myself but I have read a lot of good reviews online about the pre cut tint kits.
give it a shot and let me know how it goes... Might think about putting some darker tint on my truck.

How much tinting have you done? It's pretty much like herding stray cats on meth during a sandstorm while drunk.
I just bought some, it will be here next week. It gets freakin hot in the car in Lawton.

I put the one from ebay on my truck about two years ago, and couldn't be happier. This was my first time tinting, so I took my time, and it really wasn't hard at all, just time consuming. It was actually fun.
There are a few spots that I didn't get clean enough that you can see if you're less than a foot away, but from more than that it looks perfect.
Over two years the color hasn't changed, and the tint hasn't started to lift anywhere, even a couple spots with dog hair stuck underneath.
Best $23 I ever spent on the truck.

I also have used the precut tint on my past 4 trucks and all were perfect. I have tinted a few trucks with precut and not precut tint so I wasn't that hard at all. But the precut makes it so much easier to do. Just take your time.

I never tried pre-cut tint, but started with a roll and attempted to do it my self. Tinting windows is one thing I leave to the vatos at the tint shop.

I have done it before, it really isn't that hard if you take your time and do it inside. I did my first truck outside because I didn't have anywhere else, and it was a real bitch with the wind. I am going to be doing my truck real soon I think.

Side windows are not terribly hard to do. Any curved back glasses require shrinking the film which is best left to a pro.I just bought some, it will be here next week. It gets freakin hot in the car in Lawton.

It's not impossible, but a few rules apply.
- Do it indoors if at all possible (out of any wind)
- Clean the hell out of the glass (use a razor blade to remove any dirt or spots)
- Clean the class again.
- Use lint free paper towels or you will have a million tiny hairs under the tint.
- Take your time.
- Keep the window and the film soaked with your solution at all times.
- Position the tint where you want it and squeegee from the center or top down depending on the glass.
- Realize that it may never be perfect.
