I've been toying with TTS Datamaster(a datalogging program)to see how the engine in my burb is running.I have a couple of logs and thought I'd see if anyone here can decipher the info. Some is pretty clear but some is not...can anyone shed some light?

Wonder if Jenna can read this old OBDI stuff :dunno::D

Couple of engine info printouts...

The only anomaly I see in the readouts is it has a little bit of spark knock...
From what little I know of OBD1... (which isn't much)... everything else looks fine.

I am pretty sure it would... and it would also allow for a little more advance when cruising... assuming there is more advance to be had in the curve.

Right now I have base timing at 6* before, supposed to be 4* before.I'll set it back to OEM and put 91 in next time I get gas and do a little more logging and see what happens.

Funny thing,I never checked to see if we have ethenol in our gas, more than likely we do have a little..:dunno:

Here's a shot of the TunerPro(a datalogging & prom burning program) screen, just a few of the ''perameters" of what it takes to make an engine run in '95 :uhoh:

If you are going to 91 octane... leave the timing where it is.
The higher octane should take care of that little bit of spark knock.

I'll try 91 and see if the spark knock goes away,if it doesn't then I'll put the timing back to OEM...

Update:

I've been using Tuner Pro RT the last few months and it has helped me much more than Datamaster did. Also,it's free forever

Any of those gauges can be changed to dials(or analog as the program calls 'em).
