Hi guys I am not to often on the internet, sorry about that.
I am working on my truck today because at lunch I stop my truck at home and when I remove the ignition keys my blower was still on,so I had to disconnect the batterie post. I think it is the speed resistor that is shorted.
My truck is a 2005 Silverado . Any idea for this problem.

Re: Heater blower

Call your dealer, there was a recall on the resistor, check if you're covered. To check yourself, remove the bottom cover under the dash on the passenger side, you should see the wire harness going to the blower motor. Mine were totally burnt out.

No I look at the harness ,look ok.Can't tell if the resistor is gone.it a heat sink instead of a resistor. The GM guy give me the wrong one
