A Little Contest of Speed Against a 2004 GTO

Hey Jim, I saw a new Camaro racing a Mustang on 820 when I was on my way back after getting my re-tune yesterday. It was almost comical how easily that Camaro kept leaving the Mustang in his dust.
The Mustang kept begging for more, and the Camaro would easily outrun him each time they got alongside each other.

... looks like he would have enough sense to quit after being beat two or three times...

Thats what I thought. The Mustang got him one time, only because the Camaro got caught in trafic in his lane. But the other 3 or 4 times they got alongside each other, it was like he was outrunning a prius.
Not sure what model Mustang it was, it had cheap looking racing stripes on it up the trunk and roof. And the Camaro had a badass exhaust, because even with my windows up and radio on, I heard him every time he got down on it, and he was at least 150 yards or more in front of me.

I would guess it was a 6.2 SS.
They are badass cars... and sound really good ...

It looked like an SS to me, but I couldn't get a close enough look at it.
Plus it was pretty much dark by that time too.
