Not truck related, but yesterday afternoon/evening I drove my GF up to Minneapolis in her Cavalier so she could fly to Arizona and spend some time with her somehow-related family. Car did pretty good and got 29.5mpg up (doing 70; stiff cross-wind) and 32mpg coming back (doing 65; less wind).


Took the ZR2 for a short ride tonight for the first time since Friday (longest this truck has ever sat not counting the summer). Think I have a brake problem.

Brought my motorcycle home from storage (grandma's house; where the Z71 is too). That was nice and something different.

Parked it on some snowbanks.

Snow? We don't have ANY down here at all.

snapped a wire
broke a hub lock
damaged a battery cell (leaked every where)
pinched an ac line in the belt and shredded the line
jumped the truck off the ground (all 4 wheels) 3 time
hooked up a tow strap more than 20 times to pull the same guy out
got backed into
nearly got stuck
over heated multiple time (me and the other guy)
and a few other things I can't think of
oh... and found out that my passenger hub isn't locking fully, its making a weird grinding noise occasionally.

Other than that pretty fun day offroading, oh and there's video but I only got one shot of the jumps because I thought it was recording and it was on still camera instead

Washed it & cleaned out the interior
