Thanks for all the info guys. I think I'll stick with my K&N. I have been very happy with it just feeling the situation out a bit.

I have had them for years and never had any issues with oil on the MAP sensor.

:bbp: also recommended sticking with the K&N

What was their reasoning? I have K&N's too but I get tired of cleaning the MAF a couple times a year (I'm paranoid).
The sonata doesn't have a MAF it uses speed density calibrations instead so I don't feel as hesitant to drop a K&N in that car.

I've never cleaned a filter before. Really should clean my Volant this summer.

Is there any trick to it? How do you make sure you don't leave too much cleaner/oil on the filter?
