Damn, that thing is cheap too. Im with you as far as not wanting navigation. Im interested in adding a touchscreen interface and dvd capabilities.

As expensive as the touchscreens are, I don't think the Advent is a bad route to go. It will look nice and clean.

I can tell you with almost guaranteed certainty, if I still had my Sierra, I'd have done that. That thing is what's been missing from the after market.

It really is a quality piece of work from an aesthetic standpoint. I can't speak to the interface and usability but my guess is it's at least better than GM's efforts.

That Advent is awesome. Just don't know about the brand. The name has been sold off several times. This is not the Advent from the 60s and 70s. I must go read up on them! You absolutely can not beat those cosmetics!

Well, Most navigation units have that screen so I guess they thought they should too. A nice digital readout would have been better, IMO.
