on 2nd thought i'm thinking of leaving the valance, thoughts?

For stock height I would leave the valance alone. If you level it like mine I would trim because when removed there is mounting tabs that stick out.

Also I am in the process of removing the leveling kit and going to lower the rear.

Thanks for that info. I crawled under it and it looked like if i removed the valance the tabs would stick out. Thanks for confirming it!!! I think im leavin it.

your truck is now also 5 years old, and mine is only 3 months old lol, and you might want to switch to a different dealer next time because you should be getting that off the sticker not including rebates, and there's ALWAYS rebates

Its the closest dealership to me and they have been good in other ways. Haven;t said ANYTHING about my mods and warranty work, they replaced the windshield when an OEM wiper blade failed and scratched the glass, and replaced the transfer case with a brand new one without any complaining about the 35's, trutrac..etc.

And besides, with 32k on the odometer and putting only 3-4k on in the past two years my truck still feels new to me when I climb up into it. :)

Any respectable dealer should do all that. You truck still feels new because you never do the most important part to enjoying a vehicle AND ensuring your money spent is appreciated and thats actually DRIVING IT!!!!!!!!!!!! All that time, money, and enjoyment just sits. I enjoy mine on a daily basis.

Please, I've heard stories all the time about dealers voiding warranty work. As far as driving it, you drive your truck into Newark to work after you've been shot at and hit, no thanks, plus the parking lot at work is so damned tight it's a PITA to park my truck. Once I have the new stuff on it I def will drive it more on the weekends though. That's why your undercarriage will always have tons of rust too, I won't be driving mine in the snow or on salted roads especially when I have have 2k coilovers installed.
