Im still debating on the HIDs, if i get them i getting 6k, if not im getting white bulbs for everything because them not matching is killing my nerves :fume:
HID's are fine to run in the stock housings of these headlights. I ran them in mine for 3 years with no problems. If you take the time to aim them right they don't blind people either.

Sorry but gotta disagree with you on that, they may not :quote: blind people :quote: but they sure as hell are dangerous for people driving towards you

Had to pull of the road one night because of a lifted F150 with ridiculous glare from his headlights. They were "lowered" too but still super blinding glaring off the housing and makes a bad glare off the freshly wet asphalt

Just my experience and most everyones experience with F150s

Personally I don't see much of a difference. Obviously the lights are going to be brighter, they are HID's. I have seen the same effect with retro's. They are just brights bulbs. To each their own though, if someone wants to spend a few hundred to put retro's in go for it, for me ill just stick to putting them in the stock housings.

That might be the most polite version of the retro fit vs. non retro fit argument that I have ever seen  Usually it ends up with some sort of argument where everybody gets all peed off, etc, etc..
