The plain clothes officer had no reason to draw his weapon when he exited his POV. Yeah he's lucky the biker didn't draw on him.

Wanna play 80-100 on the freeway you better be ready for the consequences.

By law he had every right to pull his weapon if he thought the guy was ready to flee (which looked likely there for a second). He followed protocol and never once pointed the weapon at the offender AND he verbally identified himself as State Police. He also had a marked unit right behind the bike.

I don't blame the cop one bit.

I don't really blame the cop for what he did when he got pulled over... It's the crap that happened afterwards that gets me.

That whole trouble for videotaping thing stinks for sure. I think that part is total bullshit... He deserved his punishment for hauling ass.
