Replaced all eight glow plugs and the glow plug relay. Starts much better now. :)

That's always a plus!

Hope it wasn't too expensive or much of a PITA

About $275 total. I went with the Diesel Rx plugs and relay so the parts were about $125, then $140 labor (book calls it a two hour job and it actually took three) plus tip for the mechanic who came in on his day off to do it after they couldn't get to it yesterday. I let the shop do it because that #8 plug is a royal PITA to get to. We seriously considered pulling the fender to get to it. It's tucked up under ad behind the turbo.

That's a helluva mechanic!

Most of the ones around here, you've got a hard enough time getting them to work Monday - Friday, let alone on a day off!

Put the MTZs back on before our ski trip. The Revos might be nearing the end of their useful life. :jester:

Thought about going out to do some wiring on it, but didn't feel like tearing up the driveway in 4wd to get in the shop or sinking in mud to my knees to do it outside!

Yeah, he's a friend of mine, and the shop owner is a fellow displaced NY'er so they treat me good there.
