I'd still go with the original silver. The flake just doesn't fit your truck, IMO.

It's just a rendering Tobias, I'm sure it won't be that sparkly.

I would be using the same NIC Heavy Silver with a clear that has some metallic flake in it. In a dark area such as where it will be the flakes will be hardly visible, plus on a light color the flakes also show less. I know by putting the silver springs in the wheel well that they start looking like a regular grey powder since the metallic only shows when sunlight hits them.

I'll see if I can find an example of silver metallic with a flake clear like that.
