He's not worried about light output. He's worried about aesthetics.

In that case he shouldn't even be questioning it. Black looks good on his truck.

The right deep gray looks better though.

Man, those are awfully dark. They look good, but I'd be worried about some jack wagon on his phone driving through the ass end of your truck.

I've never been a fan of tinted or dark lights. Neither front or rear. That's just me though. Not very fond of the Euro clears either. Maybe I'm just old shcool.
