I hadn't thought about it, but that could (maybe) explain Childress cutting back to 3 teams this year.. Opening up a spot for Dillon to run a 4th car from time to time.

I was under the impression, though, that they wouldn't even think about bringing the 3 back to Cup unless/until Dillon became successful in the NWS..
