Measured the brake lines, and let it run for about an hour to keep the battery charged. It hasn't moved in a month, and I just want to FWONKING DRIVE IT again. Fucking school, no time to fix anything.

I lost a brake line last time I was at the track (a month ago), and haven't had time to replace it and the 3 other rotted-to-hell hard lines in the area. Hopefully I can get some lines made up and sent to me in time for thanksgiving break. I'm going to try to get some lines with a few inches of stainless braided hose at either end just to make installation a bit easier. I had to do all hard line on a truck at work this summer, and it was brutal, even with a lift.

I've done 2 hard lines full length on a Grand Am once. I'd hate to run them on a truck!

Did you have just brake lines blow or did the fuel lines go too?

Fuel lines are fine, they're stainless. Probably the only thing not rusting on this truck, I think even my windows are starting to rot. :jester:

Yeah it's one of the few jobs I actually dread doing. Why does stainless braided hose have to be $20/ft? It'd be so easy to just run that all the way around.
