Storing Truck

Alrighty, I know this has been covered a few times, but what all needs to be done to a vehicle before putting it away for storage. It just got the oil changed, I will pull the battery and add seafoam to the gas tank. I will be taking off my centerlines and throwing on old steelies, do you think I should put it up on jackstands or is that not necessary?

What are you going to be parking it on, concrete? I don't think you'd have to put it on jack stands, but I would at least park it on some wood blocks, such as a 2x12's or something. Hell, I'd even throw a cover on it even if it's going to be inside.

How long you storing it for?
If its just for the winter, jackstands aren't crucial.

Yes, I will be putting it in my third garage stall soon as it's forcasted to snow this weekend. It will be in there probably until April.

I don't think that is long enough to warrant the use of jack stands. You may want to go ahead and use them for peace of mind.
