Washed, clay-ed, polished, and waxed the Z71. Then drove it straight to my grandma's (no after pics of wax job) and put it away for the winter I'm glad its done, but sad to see it go away.

Now I'm back down to 1 truck.

No. Getting the Z71 put away was a bigger priority. Plus, I needed good weather to do it. The HID's can be done in the garage.

We'll see what happens this Saturday. If my dad doesn't have plans, maybe we can get the HID's done then. If not, they'll get put off another week....again.

I'll be putting 5 relays in the ZR2: low beam, high beam, high-4, fog light, halo lights (in the headlights). I'll have it so that the parking lights need to be on for the fog lights and halo lights to be able to come on (both will be controlled by a separate switch mounted below the headlight knob in the cab). I don't know if I'll like the halo's or not so that's the reason behind adding an extra relay for them. Sure this is probably excessive and overkill, but it'll be the way I want it.

For this year, unless I get more time this winter, my new fog lights are not going on (not even sure if I'll hook back up the ones that are currently on the truck). Basically, I'm going to have yet another wiring fiasco on my hands.

If you're drawing power from an existing circuit, you don't even need a fuse...

Both halo lights probably draw maybe .5 at a generous max...

You can run just a switch.

Gotchya! That's great news. I haven't found a spot yet to mount my relay rack, but this engine bay is way more cramped than the Z71 so saving 1 relay will make a huge difference! Not sure where I'm mounting all my ballasts yet either (have 4 of the larger Apexcone ones).

Gotchya! That's great news. I haven't found a spot yet to mount my relay rack, but this engine bay is way more cramped than the Z71 so saving 1 relay will make a huge difference! Not sure where I'm mounting all my ballasts yet either (have 4 of the larger Apexcone ones).

Pop the grille out... There's a lot of room behind it...

I had my ballasts behind the signal lights.... I can't guarantee if yours will fit there or not... It's a tight squeeze
