Now I gotta deal with the front axle, maybe a limited slip or TruTrac? :dunno: This is going to be harder since I have the lift and all that sutff has to come off for access to the diff :(

I used Lucas 80W-90 Heavy Duty oil (GL-5).I learned that these older diffs need regular dino gear oil and that the clutches in 'em don't like synthetic oils.I might give Nick a holler when I open up the rear diff to see how it's doing in a month or so.

Gary, I'm "thinking" I havevthe G80. But I think it's on its last leg. With this recent snow I have noticed something. When I get on it one wheel will spin. I let off then get on it again and I'm fish tailing. But more so one wheel will spin. Is this what yours was kinda doing? Only engaging some times? Also I found a full floating rear end. I currently have a semi floating one so there will be a swap some time in the future.
