yeah....about that.....I don't have an air compressor....yet.

Thought I should mention how the backlash is set(as it seems to me)..in the pic below you'll see a small bolt and a two fingered clip with the two fingers going into holes.Those fingers keep a threaded collar from moving.That collar and the other one on the other side centered the diff to get the correct backlash.If one is screwed one way and the other is screwed to match it possible to move the diff from left to right & the reverse.Also it appears that there's a certain ammount of pressure on the diff because I could not simply pull it out.When removing this G80 from the housing I removed the bolt & fingers and tapped the collar with a screwdriver & hammer and it moved,cool.I screwed each collar away from the diff & it eventually simply fell out(I had a cushion set up to catch it).

yeah....about that.....I don't have an air compressor....yet.

One of the most important tools in any garage.It's a great time saver and makes a hard job easier I think mine is a 25 or 30 gallon Craftsman I've had for at least 15 years...best $300.00 (IIRC ) I ever spent.
