Is a tandem axle dually? What is that like a 19 ton trailer?
Maybe not... Looks like the same trailer that I pull behind dump truck!!!

Its a 30Klb (capacity) dual tired tandem. Usually has a massey ferguson 2745 tractor on it, being pulled by a Ford F-800 Dump. It weighs roughly 7Klbs by itself. When I bought my 85' u-hual wouldnt rent to me because they claimed the 85' was too heavy for the trailor. So, I borrowed the tandem from a friend. :D

Went over the scales at a hair over 20Klbs, and to boot, I got 13.4MPG towing it. Total trip (Easton, MA to Rutland, VT and back) was roughly 400 miles.

The real fun was when I went to pick it up, the dang thing was sunk into the mud. 4WD-Lo to the rescue! If you look at my front tire in the picture you can see how the tires where just caked in mud.

Its exactly like this trailer here... Except this one has a tool box...

Yup, that looks to be the same. It was a fun day. dietz4ibanez, have you ever pulled that with your pickup?

You ought to post your trucks in the Garage section!!!

Try it sometime. The rush you get the first time you step on the brakes will beat any drug.

I am sure that it wont be much different than pulling my neighbors f350 around..

Trailers like that usually come with brakes anyway...

When I hauled that trailer with my little Blazer, you could barely tell it was there, when you were stopping...

Oh absolutely. That trailor had its own brakes. But having never pulled it before with my pickup, when I came to the first stop sign all loaded, I had one of those "what the hell?" moments.:lol:

Yeah thats when you realize that you are not stopping as fast as usual and it throws you into a panic as A. you are either approaching a red light in a busy intersection with lots of traffic. or B. there is an idiot that cut you off just to get in front of you and is now hitting the brakes.... or C. Insert Text here..

That's nothing compared to coming up to a stop sign in a customers vehicle, and a nicce brand new vehicle already stopped there... And they waited until then to tell you you have to hit the brake pedal about 6 times before you can stop
