Spotted this info over at camaro5.com, thought a few of you might be interested in knowing about it.

GM has issued the following service bulletin for 1) HVAC system reprogram, 2) rear spoiler fastening, and 3) engine harness inspection/repair.

The reprogramming of the HVAC system is to prevent HVAC evaporator freeze-up after extended highway drives. The rear spoiler service is to fasten the (sometimes loose) nuts used to attach the rear spoiler to the trunk kid, and only applies to VINs A9126194 or lower. And the engine harness inspection ensures that the heater hose clamps are not touching the harness bracket.

Though these are not recalls or critical services, it's suggested that if/when your car is in for service or maintenance, to have these services performed (if applicable).

Not a bad list considering this is a totally new vehicle. A few bugs are expected but overall they seem to be doing pretty well!

I have had 3 trucks that were all either 1st or 2nd year vehicles (89, 2000, 2007) and they have all been great. Especially my 89.

I see mr_bots point. I've normally been a guy that would not buy a first year vehicle... but my current truck is a first year GMT900 and I haven't had a single problem in two years and 15000 miles. I may be changing my mind.

LOL!

I'll be doing the 4th change this weekend. My Amsoil is finally going in. Did one at 1000, 5,000, 10,000... and now 15,000.
